Grand Opening!

I've finally opened my shop!! Currently for sale are the paper dolls I've been working on, if you follow me on Instagram you've been seeing them pop up occasionally. I'm so happy to finally have them done! During this month I plan on adding some sewn dolls, hand cast and painted pins, and postcards and greeting cards. In the future I'd like to add some giclee prints and originals as well as anything else that I'm itching to make. Go take a look at shop.smallthingsillustration.com.

I worked hard on the paper doll packaging because I wanted these guys to be retail and gift ready. Packing is one of my favorite parts of buying original art and craft pieces. I actually save all the little interesting bits I get. The paper dolls are held in place using taped hemp upon a rigid card with an original illustration within a cello bag. The top tag is hand cut from printed kraft card stock.

While I'm very fond of the Summer Fairy Paper Dolls, I'm still very tickled with my Baba Yaga House. Those chicken legs crack me up!

Don't forget to follow me on Instagram, I post a ton of WIP's there!
